The vehicle itself looked exactly as shown in the photos and was in excellent condition for its age. The number of previous owners matched his description (again something which some garages manipulate inorder to get you to the garage).
So far the car is in perfect working order and Churchfield Cars has also provided a 3 written warranty which I hope won't be required.

I was looking for a nice example of a late model Volvo V70 and saw that Churchfield had one for sale. From the first telephone enquiry my experience was positive. Ray then took some time to go through the papers relating to the car. There was no pressure or typical sales tactics. Ray is a very chatty and interesting man and the entire experience was positive. I saw the rest of his stock and I concluded that he goes to some lengths to acquire nice examples of everything. You get what you pay for: I wanted a really nice example of a V70 and that's exactly what I found at Churchfield.
